The Phenomenal signs of Jesus second coming
On our last topic, we enumerated the global signs of Jesus coming. Today, we will continue the topic but it will be about the phenomenal signs that will take place that will determine the end of age.
• The gospel has proclaimed worldwide
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
We know that it is not about making everyone read the bible but to made known to everyone the Gift of Salvation that is in Christ. It is proclaiming the redemption of God through believing in Jesus Christ, the slain lamb. In the age of the internet it is possible enough to deliver the gospel of the kingdom worldwide. Many are the on fire people of God who passionately share the salvation and grace.
We will know that the gospel has been shared throughout the world, when we see the following events written down below happened.
Luke 21:28 "Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
•The appearance of the Man of lawlessness
Read 2 Thessalonians 2
...Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction."
Many commentaries and interpretations that he will rule the One World Government that might soon be inaugurated. We do not know when or how this persona would appear to the public. It is not something we need to be afraid of, it is part of preparing ourselves, looking out not to be deceived from the fabricated, diplomatic words of this man.
•Great Tribulation
"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be."
This event is remarkably horrendous. An unimaginable suffering that will excruciatingly consumed the inhabitants of the world. This must be worst than any fictional or historical catastrophe we ever know, like an all-in-one package of agony and persecution. I don't even want to experience that myself, either but thanks to God as He has given us security, "Because you have kept My command to endure with patience, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." This is a call of perseverance and steadfastness. It might be beyond of what we can bear, God is standing behind us.
•The Rapture
... we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matt. 24:31
The moment where we can finally go back home in heaven, the place where we are supposed to be since the beginning. We always look forward to it, right? After enduring all the trials of life, it is time for us to live in harmonious solidarity together with God and Lord Jesus. We must secure our crown of life to join the association of God's people. Who would want to be left behind?
Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. Rom.13:11Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. Matt. 24:42...praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man. Luk 21:36
