Increasing evilness in the last days

Millenium is much more civilized and state-of-the-art. Innovative inventions and premium commodities were imposingly introduced to make a quality life out of it.

But as the world progresses economically, it is a matter-of-fact that the human behavior towards modern civilization has also changed.
People exercise the gift of freedom exaggeratedly, to the point of bending the heavenly established laws for gratifying one's selfish ambition.

With different social media platforms, news all over the globe can reach the eyes and ears in  a speed of lightning.

You can heard of cyberbullying, cybersex crime divorces, killings, assassinations, sindicates, immorality and the likes.

In the book of Second Timothy. Paul warned Timothy about the terrifying changes of human hearts that will happen in these days.

2Timothy 3:1:5

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - having the form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

What we are witnessing in the world right now should not surprise us at all.

Also, in the Book of Matthew Jesus talked about the same wickedness as Paul said in Timothy.

Matthew 24:10-13

At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of the wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Satan's deception to mankind is at its peak. Knowing that he only had little time left before the divine judgement. He worked hard to spread lies and make much people renounced their faith. Satan wants us to share the lake of fire with him. He doesn't want to bear the punishment alone, that is why his goal of stealing, killing and destroying are still his priorities.

"Be very careful, then, how you live- not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
-Eph. 5:15-16

"Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires."
-2Peter 3:3

We literally living the last of the last days.
Wildfires, high magnitudes of Earth tremors in various countries, unusual deaths of marine life, great attacks of locusts to the crops, and the phenomenal corona virus that killed millions of lives globally.

Matthew 24:4
Jesus answered: Watch out that no one decieves you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Messiah,' and will decieve many. You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

We are required to be watchful. If Jesus did not tell these things to us we won't be given a chance to change. We will surely be bound to everlasting death.

We do not know when the judgement comes. Let us always be repentant and turn away ourselves from sin.

Matthew 24:32-35
Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.
Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my word will never pass away.
